DUAL Cyber & Privacy - Incident Management

We wanted to let you know of an imminent change in the way Incident Management of DUAL Cyber & Privacy claims will be handled effective from 1 June 2023.
 

The change is being introduced to allow DUAL and our capacity provider partners to maintain the outstanding service in the response and management of Cyber & Privacy claims.
 
Incident Managers perform the key role of triaging new incidents, arranging assistance for insureds from our panel of expert service providers, and then project managing these vendors in remediating an incident.
 
Effective 1 June 2023, our capacity providers will directly manage Breach Response and Incident Management of DUAL Cyber & Privacy claims through their Cyber Incident Management Team (“CIMT”).


CIMT are technical cyber insurance professionals who solely handle the management of cyber incidents as opposed to loss adjusters with additional cyber skills.
