Brisbane Barefoot Bowls Charity Event 2023

On Thursday 7th of September 2023, DUAL Brisbane proudly hosted its first signature charity event. The Barefoot Bowls Charity Event aimed to raise funds for their selected charity partner, Black Dog Institute.
Black Dog Institute is the only medical research institute in Australia to investigate mental health across the lifespan, their aim is to create a mentally healthier world for everyone.
They do this through ‘translational’ research. Integrating research studies, education programs, digital tools and apps, clinical services, and public resources to discover new solutions, foster connections and create real-world change. More than 60 brokers and lawyers joined the DUAL team, for an afternoon filled with laughter, sunny vibes, and a bit of friendly competition. Thanks to the overwhelming support and remarkable generosity of everyone who attended the event, we managed to raise over $21,000 for the Black Dog Institute.
